Introduction
Houston, Texas is the fourth largest city in the United States of America. As a metropolitan area, Houston is the fifth largest. The city has a humid subtropical climate and many places to visit. There are numerous things for people of all ages to do when visiting Houston.
The George R. Brown Convention Center is one of the biggest convention centers in Houston. It is located on the east side of downtown Houston. The convention center can hold up to 16,000 people and has more than 2 million square feet of space for exhibits.
The Houston Museum District is one of Houston’s most popular attractions. This district houses 19 museums all within walking distance from each other including the Houston Museum of Natural Science and the Houston Museum of Fine Arts.
The Houston Zoo is a world-renowned zoo that people from all over the United States come to visit. This award-winning zoo has numerous species and an aquatic park called the Texas Splashpark. During the summer, visitors can walk through the butterfly garden and then ride a kiddie train. Houston Zoo is an amazing place with so much to do.
World Fest Houston is a yearly event that brings the world together in celebration of art, culture, and diversity. It is held at Houston’s Sam Houston Park and Houstonians have been enjoying this free festival for more than 20 years. There are people from all different backgrounds participating in this festival. Houstonians should be proud of their heritage and show everyone what Houston is about.
Houston has one of the best zoos in the world, which has amazing exhibits that people of all ages will enjoy. Houston also hosts one of the biggest art festivals in Houston, World Fest Houston, where Houstonians can come together to celebrate world culture while having fun with their families. Houston is a wonderful place to visit filled with amazing things to do and people to meet.
